Case study #1

Strategic consulting helps organization avoid crisis.

For several months, the organization’s executive and board of directors had been facing a conflict situation with an employee. They had exhausted all options and found themselves at an impasse in resolving the situation. They had to make a radical decision, but the employee was threatening to go to the press with her story, which would certainly have been of interest to the media. Our role was to propose a strategic and ethical approach to this crisis on the verge of exploding.

After a full analysis of the situation, we provided strategic advice and an appropriate response that would serve to preserve the organization’s reputation and maintain the employee’s trust, to avoid any scandal. The aim here was also to eliminate any possibility of allegations to the press.

The situation quickly returned to normal, with no outbursts in the media or within the organization.

A media crisis must be carefully managed to preserve a company’s interests and business objectives.

The organization had accumulated a history of negative media coverage, making its situation complex. Once again, it was faced with a major crisis that could unfortunately cost it dearly this time, with the risk of losing important partnerships or even closing down altogether.

We worked for several months in close collaboration with internal teams, to maintain the confidence of targeted stakeholders and re-establish dialogue with a sensitive public.

The proposed strategy enabled us to meet and even exceed all the objectives established with the client at the very start of the mandate.
