Group of Thirty 2022

A new face for Montreal’s inclusive board of directors.

On March 16, 2022, Concertation Montréal (CMTL) announced the arrival of the 30 new members who make up the fourth cohort of the Groupe des Trente, an inclusive board of directors. A selection of leaders from different cultural communities, with exceptional backgrounds and a strong commitment to governance.

A mission to represent diversity

For the past five years, Groupe des Trente has been promoting the representation of diversity on its boards of directors. Each year, these inspiring new men and women are chosen for their experience and leadership skills. Alongside them, they join this year’s group of leaders who have traveled many paths, to discuss, share and get more involved with other stimulating activities by becoming ambassadors of diversity.

Lawrence Esso is one of thirty women and men elected to the Group of Thirty this year, a business communicator and manager, but above all an entrepreneur and founder of corporate communications consultancy Kelart Communications. Lawrence makes an invaluable contribution to the thirty members and is recognized for her expertise in communications and crisis management.

Inspiring future generations

By highlighting these success stories, CMTL aims to encourage members of under-represented communities to get involved on boards of directors and take an active part in the choices that affect them. This initiative is part of a wider effort to promote inclusive decision-making so that all citizens can play a part in transforming our society.

Well-deserved recognition

Groupe des Trente is pleased to highlight the achievements of these individuals, while committing itself to fostering greater diversity on boards of directors. The presence of leaders like Lawrence Esso reaffirms the importance of integrating diverse perspectives for a more inclusive and dynamic society.
