“Lawrence was faced with a major challenge: how to create employee and manager commitment to a program that was only met with resistance or indifference, in a critical context?
Lawrence far exceeded expectations, developing a plan, implementing relevant actions and activities that showcased her sense of creativity and innovation.
She was able to rally people from diverse backgrounds and interests around a common vision for success. What's more, the method she developed became a benchmark for other departments, who came to learn from her and copy the formula for their own employees.
In the critical periods that Series C was going through, I was able to observe the calm and control Lawrence demonstrated, in the face of unforeseen events and last-minute changes where she had to take significant action under tight deadlines.”
“We have the great pleasure of having Lawrence as part of our Les Talents M community, and I've been impressed by the way Lawrence sets in motion the most relevant actions to achieve tangible results.
In a short space of time, she was able to arouse the interest of journalists in one of our initiatives, co-created within Les Talents M and close to our hearts - this enabled us to raise the profile of and help the local businesses that were the focus of this initiative.
A big thank you to Lawrence for his time and expertise - that's how we recognize great professionals, they're not afraid to give up their time for the right causes and they do what it takes to get the results. Bravo and thanks again Lawrence.”
“Lawrence assisted with PR for the inaugural WaiHacakathon USA 2021. Her expertise, knowledge, and ability to connect with the project in a short space of time was astounding!!
Lawrence ensured that she understood the project inside out and with that knowledge she helped us to develop a media kit, media plan, and provided many resources to further our efforts.
One delightful aspect of working with Lawrence is that she also educates her clients while getting the job done. She is super efficient and is focussed on completing the PR goals and following through. I look forward to working with Lawrence on future projects.”
“I had the pleasure of working with Lawrence on a book launch project. Lawrence has a profile that perfectly combines know-how and savoir-être.
In fact, in addition to having extensive experience in communications and an outstanding strategic mind, she is pleasant to work with, has a high level of listening skills, is generous with her time, and knows well how to ask pertinent questions pushing the limits of strategic thinking.
I recommend Lawrence's services without hesitation.”
Your questions
Any unexpected and disruptive event or series of events that could affect operations, personnel, reputation, human lives, customers, revenues, and result in legal action, involvement of politicians, increased media interest.
Crisis management in public relations is a 3-stage process:
- Preparation: This phase involves assessing vulnerabilities, anticipating potential risks and developing crisis and contingency plans. The aim is to be prepared for a variety of critical scenarios.
- Response: When a crisis occurs, the company must communicate rapidly and transparently. The aim is to keep control of the narrative and maintain public confidence in the situation.
- Reconstruction: After the crisis, it's crucial to develop a plan to rebuild the organization's reputation. This stage aims to correct the negative impacts and restore the image and credibility affected by the crisis.
It is advisable to call in crisis management services as soon as you identify a situation that could compromise your company's reputation and image. Such a situation could generate negative media coverage, trigger legal action, affect company operations or revenues, or involve politicians. If any of these criteria apply, you need to consult a public relations professional.
We intervene in cases of accidents and fatalities, negative media coverage, operational or corporate culture issues, restructuring, virulent social media attacks, legal actions, cyber-attacks and much more.
We provide personalized support, and listen to the needs and expectations of all stakeholders to propose appropriate strategies and messages to help regain trust and defuse the situation.
You can schedule a free consultation by contacting us by phone at +1 514 690 5660 or by e-mail at lawrence@kelartcom.com. We'll be happy to discuss your crisis management and communication needs.
